DRRP and RRTC Summer Students

This summer, Dr. Krause and Dr. Saunders will mentor one undergraduate and one graduate student for a ten week period as part of the DRRP project. They will also mentor one undergraduate student for the RRTC project for the ten week period. Each student will take part in team activities as well as work on their own individual project throughout the summer. The students will also take classes through the MUSC Graduate School which will focus on research, neurologic, rehabilitation, and medical topics. At the end of the summer, each student will have the opportunity to present their reserach project findings to the MUSC Graduate School mentors, as well as our team.

The graduate student, Jamar Booth, is currently pursuing a master's of rehabilitation counseling at South Carolina State with an intended graduation date of May 2012. He has a bachelor of science degree in physical education/activity management from South Carolina State.

Leah Snipe is a rising sophomore at Wofford College with an undeclared degree interest of biology and pre medicine. She is interested in gaining knowledge and skills over the summer on professional research.

Allysan Scatterday is a rising senior at the College of Charleston with a major in biology and pre medicine. She is interested in dermatology and environmental issues in medical care.
