Our next Grand Rounds for the RRTC grant will take place on Tuesday, April 26 at noon. The presentation will be at MUSC in the College of Health Professions Complex, A-204. Joycelyn Craig, BSN, RN, CRRN from the Shepherd Center in Atlanta Georgia will present on "Every Patient with SCI Deserves a “Turn”: How, When, and Why!"
The learning objectives are:
1. List at least 3 ways that turning benefits the patient.
2. Recognize proper padding and positioning.
3. Defend turns, padding and positioning despite the use of specialty mattresses or beds.
Please feel free to bring your lunch! All attendees will be eligible for one hour of CME or CEU continuing education credit.
